Over 1,000 customers affected by Mediacom outage in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa -According to Mediacom officials, a cable outage has temporarily cut off service to more than 1,000 customers in parts of Cedar Rapids on Saturday night.
1,043 customers had their television, internet and phone service interrupted.
The service line was damaged due to a fire that caught equipment on utility pole.
Repairs are underway and services will be restored as soon as possible.
