Some livestock animals dead from barn fire in Linn County
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office and multiple other Linn County agencies responded Friday to a livestock barn fire on the 700 block of Creek Road.
Deputies discovered at 2:27 p.m. the owner of the barn was told by his neighbor that his livestock barn was on fire.
The owner was able to rescue some animals but did lose others to the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
