Splash pads season opening scheduled for Saturday
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Cedar Rapids splash pads will be opening for the season on Saturday, May29.
Every day, water will be switched on at 9:00 a.m. and shut off at 9:00 p.m. When a hand is passed across the sensor on the fire hydrant or the button is touched, the spray features are activated.
Splash pads are located at Cedar Valley, Cleveland, Daniels, Greene Square, Hayes, Hidder, Noelridge, Redmond, and Twin Pines parks.
The splash pads at Jacolyn Park and Time Check Park are temporarily closed due to repairs. Jacolyn’s Park splash pad is scheduled to reopen within two weeks.
