Street enhancement project closes road in Hiawatha

Hiawatha, Iowa – Starting today, a part of Tower Terrace Road will be closed starting today due to street repair and enhancement.
The road will be closed between Edgewood Road and North Center Point Road.
Complete roadway reconstruction is required in connection with the I-380 interchange enhancement project.
North Center Point Road and Hummingbird Lane will be the entrances of the Tower Terrace Mobile Home Park, located at 4014 Tower Terrace Road.
North Center Point Road will stay open until the middle of April, when new detour routes will be announced.
Drivers traveling north on North Center Point should expect delays and avoid the area if at all possible.
Depending on the weather, it is estimated that all work will be completed by August 19, 2022.
