Suspect arrested in connection with shooting that killed a man and injured a woman
Luton, Iowa – The death of a man and the injury of a woman led to arrest of a 20-year-old man.
Woodbury County officers responded at Luton house around 1:30 on Monday, after a call of a shooting and found man lying on ground and woman with gunshot injuries.
According to officials, the man, identified as Russel Mohr, died at the scene and the woman was transported to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries to her leg.
Half an hour later, a 20-year-old man, Marvin Lynn Hildreth Jr, was pulled over from the deputies and apprehended on suspicion of doing arm with intention and second-degree murder.
