The Cedar Rapids Farmers Market to start on July 17th
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market will be hosted by the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance this Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 7:30 a.m. (set up begins at 5:00 a.m.) until 12:00 p.m. (tear down ends by 1:00 p.m.).
The following streets will be used for the event this year:
- 2nd Avenue SE from 1st Street (not inclusive) to 5th Street
- 3rd Avenue SE from 1st Street (not inclusive) to 5th Street
- 4th Avenue SE from 1st Street (no inclusive) to 5th Street
- 2nd Street SE from 1st Avenue (not inclusive) to 4th Avenue
- 3rd Street SE from 1st Avenue ( not inclusive) to 4th Avenue
- 5th Street SE from 1st Avenue (not inclusive) to 4th Avenue
According to Municipal Code Sections 61.094 and 61.094A, a “No Parking/Tow Away” zone will be enforced on these streets from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Farmers’ Market guests are recommended to park at the 4th Avenue, GTC, 5 Seasons, or Convention Complex parking ramps, located just a few streets away.

Handicapped parking ramps are available and market patrons with special needs are encouraged to use them.
