Wanted man arrested by Cedar Rapids police following vehicle pursuit
On Wednesday morning, a wanted suspect was arrested by Cedar Rapids police following a vehicle pursuit that ended on the northwest side of the city.
The authorities confirmed that they pursued the suspect on Johnson Avenue, Edgewood Road, and 16th Avenue before the chase was brought to a halt when the suspect’s vehicle hit stop sticks on Johnson Avenue near 27th Street Northwest.
After the suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, the police managed to catch up with and arrest him shortly before 10 a.m.
However, the identity of the suspect has not yet been released, although it was stated that he is wanted on multiple warrants.
