While the FBI looks into a potential assassination attempt, political leaders in Iowa support Donald Trump
Iowa – Politicians in Iowa are expressing their support for former president Donald Trump following what the FBI describes as a possible assassination attempt.
In a post on X, Governor Kim Reynolds asked readers to “pray for our country and President Trump.”
Leaders of other political parties are also offering prayers.
Representative Ashley Hinson stated, “I’m continuing to pray for President Trump’s safety as he fights for our country.”
Additionally, Senator Joni Ernst thanked Palm Beach Law Enforcement for their reaction in a post.
Ernst remarked, “I’m glad President Trump is safe and thankful to law enforcement for moving quickly.” “Please join me in keeping him and our country in your prayers.”
Additionally, Senator Chuck Grassley took to X to call on the FBI to be more transparent about their probe into the possible attempt.
“In aftermath of another assassination attempt & FBI investigation we need regular updates from FBI so American ppl know what’s going on MORE TRANSPARENCY FRM FBI, [sic]” Grassley said.
