Woman with non life-threatening injuries after shots fired in Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. – Cedar Rapids Police were called to the area of 4th Avenue and 18th Street SE around 10 p.m. Monday night.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle that had been hit in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue SE.
While on scene, officers were notified of a 23-year-old woman with a gunshot wound at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital.
The victim was dropped off by a private driver.
There’s an ongoing investigation into the incident.
