Man locked himself in Dollar Tree, no injuries reported
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – A man locked himself inside a Dollar Tree in Cedar Rapids, but no one was hurt.
The man walked into the Blairs Ferry store and locked himself in the office, according to Cedar Rapids police.
The man is not a Dollar Tree employee, and CRPD officers, including crisis negotiators, were on the site to handle the situation.
The incident was peacefully settled after nearly two hours, and the man was transferred to the hospital for treatment and evaluation.
There have been no charges filed.
