Suspect arrested in connection with a sex-crime against a juvenile
Fayette County, Iowa – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office stated on Tuesday that an arrest had been made in connection with a sex crime committed against a juvenile.
Holten Taylor Robinson, 18, of Parkersburg turned himself in to police last week, five days after an arrest warrant was issued for him. Robinson is accused of third-degree sex abuse.
On March 2nd, authorities claimed Robinson was at a Fairbank property when he allegedly forced a sex act on a young girl against her will, according to authorities.
Bail was set at $10,000 in cash only, and according to court documents, Robinson paid that amount under a personal surety bond on March 28th, the day he surrendered himself.
According to court records, the court also issued an order of protection against Robinson on the same day.
Robinson is expected to be arraigned on April 13th.
