Donations needed for back to school event in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Donations are needed for a back-to-school event in Cedar Rapids.
Ahead of the event, they are collecting hygiene items and school supplies at the Veterans Memorial Building.
School supplies, acne/face wash, deodorant, tooth brushes, socks, undergarments, lotions, and other everyday necessities are all needed.
On August 6th, The Honey J Back to School Bonanza will be held from 5-8 p.m.
At the event, everything will be free, including food from Willie Ray’s Q Shack, barbers from Busters Hair Studio offering back-to-school cuts, face painting, school supplies and hygiene products to give away, games, and more.
There will be a DJ on site, as well as Honey J and other children’s performances.
