Iowa Red Cross asks blood donors to step forward

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – After tornadoes wrecked entire communities and killed many in five states on Friday night, the American Red Cross in Iowa is asking blood donors to step forward.
In response, the Iowa Red Cross tweeted that it had delivered 200 more blood donations to hospitals.
The Iowa Red Cross is asking for blood donations to ensure that blood is accessible when it is needed.
