Linn County man arrested for eluding officers and intoxicated driving
CEDAR RAPID, Iowa — A vehicle pursuit ended near 16th Avenue and Edgewood Road SW with local resident Earnest Murry, 34, being surrounded by eight cruisers and a K9 unit on scene.
Originally reported to police, Murry was suspected to be an intoxicated driver. When officers initiated a traffic stop, he tried to elude officers.
Murry is currently charged with first offense OWI, driving while barred and eluding. At this time he is being processed at the Linn County Jail.
