Man injured in early morning Cedar Rapids shooting
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s northeast side.
On Tuesday, officers were called to 1528 A Avenue NE just after 3 a.m.
When they arrived, they determined rounds had struck a multi-family dwelling and traveled through the living room of a residential unit.
Police say a 29-year-old man has minor injuries from broken window glass.
Officers also found several shell casings outside.
Preliminary information shows the shots were fired from a car, according to police.
