Man suffers non-life threatening gunshot wound following a Cedar Rapids shooting
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – A man arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound after reports of shooting in Cedar Rapids.
Officers were dispatched around 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the 5000 block of 1st Avenue NW after a call of shooting. Police say the shooting happened in a parking lot behind the apartment complex.
According to police officers, a 46-year-old man arrived at the hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
There is an open investigation about this incident.
No one has been arrested.
