Next celebrations of Saint Patrick’s Day will be held only on Saturdays
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The Saint Patrick’s Day celebration, which is held every year in Cedar Rapids, will undergo a significant change.
The celebration will only be held on Saturdays, whether the holiday falls on a different day of the week as it was before or not.
Although the SaPaDaPaSo parade is scheduled for March 12, Saint Patrick’s Day falls on March 17 this year.
Three weeks ago, the organization announced the date and location of this year’s event on their Facebook page.
A question regarding the move was posted in the comments area, and the organizers answered by claiming that the change would allow for increased participation and volunteer availability.
