The Dubuque health department is seeking information about a dog that was involved in a biting incident

Dubuque, Iowa – In reference to a dog bite incident that occurred on Monday at approximately 11 p.m., the Dubuque Health and Human Services Department is requesting information.
Authorities said the dog is a short, black and white Pit Bull Terrier, also known as a Bulldog.
The bite event took place near the intersection of Washington Street and 21st Street. The dog then bolted between the 21st Street and Washington Street buildings.
Officials from the health department say they need assistance locating the dog so they can confirm its vaccination history and current health.
