Three people injured after Cedar Rapids shooting, multiple arrests made
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Multiple people are arrested after a shooting that left three people injured.
Officers were sent in the 1900 block of Bever Avenue SE at 1:44 p.m. on Saturday, to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. The incident was between two men and one of them had a firearm.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found three victims with gunshot wound injuries. Two of the victims were taken for treatment to UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital. They were later released from the hospital.
Upon further investigation, multiple arrests were made.
Investigation is still ongoing.
