Two juveniles arrested after truck break-in in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Two juveniles tried to break into a truck and were arrested later on Monday morning in Cedar Rapids.
Officers responded to the 6300 block of Windy Meadow Lane Northeast to a report of two juveniles trying to break into a truck.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a 2009 Honda Accord being driven with lights off. Another officer in the area blocked the vehicle while trying to do a U-turn.
According to the police report, four juveniles were found in the vehicle. One of the juveniles was charged with interference with official acts and criminal mischief. The 14-year-old driver was determined to be a prohibited driver in the state of Iowa.
