Linn County, Iowa – Deputies from Linn County responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 151 and Linn-Jones Rd. early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the scene at 6:16 a.m. and located Alisa Stone, 21, who was driving a black 2006 Honda Accord in the inside southbound lane of Highway 151 when they arrived. Stone said that she was experiencing discomfort in her arm, leg, and flank as a result of the incident, and she was sent to Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Bodoh was found in his 2019 Nissan Frontier with minor head injuries. He was sent to Jones County Regional Hospital for treatment.

The Honda Accord was driving southbound on Linn-Jones Road, according to investigators after further investigation. The car entered the junction on Highway 151 without yielding, while the Nissan Frontier was heading southbound on Highway 151.

It is believed that the Nissan impacted the front driver’s side of the Honda Accord, lost control, and came to a stop in the northbound lane. Both cars had their airbags activated.

There was one person in the Honda Accord who did not get hurt. Alisa Stone was charged with not giving the right-of-way when she came to an intersection.

Several departments were sent to the scene of the collision, including the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, the Springville Fire Department, Area Ambulance, and Monticello Ambulance.
