Downtown Farmer’s Market will take place throughout the summer
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – On May 28th, the Downtown Farmer’s Market in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, opened its doors for the first time this year.
As of 2019, this was the first time that the Downtown Farmers Market was open without any restrictions that were linked to COVID-19. The pandemic prompted the cancellation of the event in the year 2020. In order to prevent the virus from spreading further, the year 2021’s event had to follow a number of restrictions, such as spacing and only single flow direction.
This year’s event welcomed over 150 different vendors to its location.
This event will take place from 7:30 in the morning to 12:00 in the afternoon on consecutive Saturdays from now until September 17th. In addition, there will be a unique Market After Dark event that will take place on August 27 from 6:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m.
There is additional information on the downtown market that may be found on its website.
