Hy-Vee gave over $69,000 to local schools that took part in Cash 4 Students Program
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – On Tuesday morning, representatives from the Cedar Rapids and Marion Hy-Vee Food Stores and Drugstores delivered checks to each of the 89 local schools that took part in the 2021-22 Hy-Vee Cash 4 Students Program.
Through participation in this fundraising program, schools have the opportunity to earn money by keeping their Hy-Vee receipts.
The entire amount donated to the community’s schools was more than $69,000.
As a result of the Cash 4 Students program, schools may use the money they receive for a variety of purposes and projects.
Since the beginning of the program in 2013, a total of $975,644 has been given out to the schools that took part in it.
