Three vehicles damaged by gunshots, investigation ongoing

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Three vehicles were hit in NE Cedar Rapids and the police department was prompted to investigate.
Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of C Avenue NE for a report of gunshots at 3:23 p.m. on October 12, 2021.
Officers arrived on the scene to find three unoccupied vehicles that had been hit and damaged by gunshots.
Two individuals all dressed in black were seen fleeing from the area.
