Two injured after single vehicle crash in Linn County
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Deputies from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Hiawatha Police Department were called to the scene of a single vehicle accident early Sunday morning. A Chevrolet Malibu was flipped over in a ditch in the 2700 block of Edgewood Drive.
Despite the fact that no one was in the immediate vicinity of the car, authorities were able to find the Malibu’s passengers, Destiney DuCharme and Ambrosia Case, in an emergency room.
DuCharme has suffered severe injuries, whilst Case has had only minor ones.
The crash is being investigated by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
